499. "Heavy rain", "Mudslide" and "For safe escape"

About last days' "Heavy rains in West regions of Japan" with big "Mudslides"
which we had not met before,
I have one notice and afraid.
So I want to write about that.
I want to say about the shape of Japan's mountains.
"Mudslides" happened in every valley, I saw in a movie.
What happened in a deep point of these events, I want to say.
I thought about present shapes of mountains and valleys of Japan.
Their shapes have evolved to keep shapes with making a balance to past amount of rainfall,
that is, the past balance with mud and sands on their surfaces and past amount of rainfall,
is on a balance point that mud and sands on their surface do not slide from mountains or valleys.
If big amount of water which we have not experienced
fell from the sky,
water drain systems of mountains and valleys with present shapes
can not treat water without breaking their surface layers.
So huge amount of mud and sands on there which we do not know
dropped down from there by last days' heavy rain, I afraid.
(Present shape of mountains and valleys had finished evolving
by sliding down of mud and sands on the surfaces by past amount of rain water
till not to slide more.)
So,
the present shape of Japanese mountains and valleys
are not the suitable shape with safely water drain systems
for such heavy rains which we have not experienced, I afraid.
I can not deny possibilities for emerging the next mudslidings,
till finishing trimming off mud and sands from mountains and valleys
by such heavy rain
to fit such huge amount of rain water.
If my story is true,
the next mudslidings will happen necessarily by every such huge rain.
So,
only we can do against such huge mudsliding is
escaping to another safe place as rapid as we can,
I think.
My story have not been proved that its level is the academic paper level.
(We have not made experiences to prove it.
But I strongly feel that mountains' surfaces will be trimmed down by strong big rains.)
But I wish my story let you who are reading this article
get a motivation for escaping as fast as you can.
I just wrote this article for some goodness.
The last days' floods are also very heavy for us.
And I heard we must have decided unexpected releasings of dam water
and have done relieasings to protect dam.
So when clouds with big potential of heavy rain comes,
the first priority of our selective actions is
running away from present staying danger zone
to safe places as rapid as we can.
This is our Japanese present status, I think.

We can never win to "Mudslides" and "Flows of mud and sands."
I think that only way to protect our lives is rapidly running away from them.
And, as we know well from our experiences of playings with sea waves at sea shores,
water is also very strong.
In this case also,
I think that only way to protect our lives is rapidly running away from water.
The able height of "Vertical escaping" will be limited by buildings' heights.
(I think we can know how high we can escape by buildings' heights
before flows of water, mud and sands come.)
If a car or a tree or a big rockis push by flow of water or "mud and sands"
and hits our houses,
our houses will break.
Because horizontal ranges of recent water falls are so big,
although we want to escape to neighber,
the next towns may be also under water.
But I think that the best way of escaping from water is
to go horizontally to high place.
(One more care point of selecting escaping places is that
"Mudslides" will not occur there.)
I recommend you, every one, from my heart
to do safely and select your actions
with information from governments and opinions of well-know persons.
