841. Thinking about sportsmanship

Japanese Edition of this blog page

2020 comes now.

This year is the second Olympic year of Tokyo.

In old days (but I will not say a story about more than 100 years before.),
weapons did not develop strong like today.

So, they often fought each other with their human bodies strength.

Because of that,
many people might recognize "national army power's advantage" as "human body ability's advantage",
I guess.

"Losing to someone" may easily lead
a situation to make him treat freely our lives and bodies as his will,
that is, lead a high-risk situation that we possibly cannot protect ourselves
and we can be killed.

Just our competition of body abilities and "winning or losing" between humans without any added conditions
includes meanings of that, that is, killing each other, I think.

But by adding a condition of sports in our competitions.
we will become advocating to make a situation without threatening a body's safe of a loser or killing him
when we competition our body abilities each other.

That shows our wills, "I will not take your life, even if you will lose to me."

And only just competing body abilities and skills
is sportsmanship meaning.

(If someone cheat to win a match,
he cannot win by his own abilities from a fair point of view.

So, he cannot have any his prides for himself.

And we cannot be in a condition to compare only our body abilities but with cheating technics.)

By training our abilities and by getting many skills as a human,
we can do many things and we can experience many situations.

I think that is a nice story.

So, even if we compete each other and our fighting is a true fighting,
in such body competitions and that fighting, those players never injure his competitors,
are very symbol of peace
, I think.

I think that people with strong wills can understand that situation.
(A half man cannot understand what should be a power with human,
that is based on a wanting for keeping his life without any destructions of his and other people's happiness.
)

An injuring tackle by one player of Nihon University

Because I do not stand a place where I can check up this case directly,
I do not know I am a person who can speak about this.

But I heard a final investigated information about this case from police.

They said that they made a head coach and a coach of that team discharge.

From this information,
I think this case would be occurred
by a difference of thinking range between coaches and a foul tackle player.

Words by coaches, such as, "Break that player" or "Make him unmovable state",
mean "You make him unable state of using his potential ability under tactics in this game" or
"You make him unable state of influencing this game."

In usual sports tactics meeting,
players and coaches speak their ideas under sports range of thinking, I think.

In normal tactics talkings,
because they want to do sports,
they never say about breaking an enemy team player's body
for making his body unable to move.

In a fact,
doubt two coaches never said such words for breaking an enemy's body.

So, they were not claimed any charges in this case, I guess.

This case's reason is that they did not think anything
for aiming at breaking an enemy's body or killing enemy's life,
if they wanted to do only sprots.

If that foul tackle executor understands those words in such conversation in sports meeting
as a meaning of killing a competing team's player or injuring a competing team's player's body,

this foul tackle executor made a big mistake.

I strongly think that this foul tackle executor must reconsider his foul action in that game.

I think that we also would have sport categories
which become directly weapons.

Although we also would have sport categories
which become directly weapons,

we can play those sports just under class of sport,
and player's competition of needed skills to play that sport is
very nice to pursue a human frontier, I think.

In a result,
because abilities of human body also are only our tools,

we are tested our minds as such abilities holders as human.
