We often hear one of related terms of New coronavirus ,
"Social distance".
Original meaning of "Social distance" is
"(Psychology)Familiar and unfamiliar degree
between individual and individual, individual and group, and group and group.

BUT, in this new coronavirus case,
this term, "Social distance : at least 2m",
means
"Strongly recommended Distance between individuals
for avoiding infection new coronavirus between individuals : at least 2m", I think.
Viruses infect between Human beings,
from individual to individual,
that is,
concretely from some face person to another face person.
So,
if we do not take enough length of distance between persons,
we will catch and put other person's virus into our bodies.
In specially talking,
not only big splash water which we can see
fly from one's mouth by sneezes and coughs,
small splash water which we cannot see
also fly from one's mouth only by talking loudly.
So,
we must take this distance for avoiding these splashes with virus from infected patients.
If we eat and talk with other people by face to face,
we will suck other people's splash when we open our mouth big and eat food.
(In usual living, we do not mind such small splashes.)
Then, we are under rich contact condition each other
and we tend to be given other people's virus.
Please be careful.
