6. What are c, k, m? We usually see them with units.

THAT IS,
x0.01, x1000, x0.001 each.

After c, k, m,
we write units.

We use them like 1cm.
This means 1cm = 1x0.01m.

1km = 1x1000m,
and 1mm = 1x 0.001m = 0.1x0.01m = 0.1cm.

1dℓ means 0.1ℓ,
because d (deci) means x0.1.

These letters are called "SI Prefixes."
I write them down in a below table.
Y (yotta) x1000000000000000000000000 (trillion of trillions times = trillion trillion times, with 24 zeros, 1024)
Z (zetta) x1000000000000000000000 (billion of trillions times = billion trillion times, with 21 zeros, 1021)
E (exa) x1000000000000000000 (billion of billions times = billion billions times, with 18 zeros, 1018)
P (peta) x1000000000000000 (million of billions times = million billion times, with 15 zeros, 1015)
T (tera) x1000000000000 (trillion times= million of millions times = million million times, with 12 zeros, 1012)
G (giga) x1000000000 (billion times, with 9 zeros, 109)
M (mega) x1000000 (million times, with 6 zeros, 106)
k (kilo) x1000 (thousand times, with 3 zeros, 103)
h (hecto) x100 (hundred times, with 2 zeros, 102)
da (deca) x10 (ten times, with one zero, 101)
d (deci) x0.1 (one tenth times, 10-1)
c (centi) x0.01 (one hundredth times, 10-2)
m (milli) x0.001 (one thousandth times, 10-3)
μ (micro) x0.000001 (one millionth times, 10-6)
n (nano) x0.000000001 (one billionth times, 10-9)
p (pico) x0.000000000001 (one trillionth times, 10-12)
f (femto) x0.000000000000001 (one million billionth times, 10-15)
a (atto) x0.000000000000000001 (one billion billionth times, 10-18)
z (zepto) x0.000000000000000000001 (one billion trillionth times, 10-21)
y (yocto) x0.000000000000000000000001 (one trillion trillionth times, 10-24)

These letters (prefixes) turn into practical numbers.
I hope you to understand them clearly by your heart.
